Our journey began with a deep love for craftsmanship and a vision to bring timeless beauty into homes like yours.
It all started in 2017 when Samir founded SOCCO Designs, with the goal of introducing the charm of Moroccan craftsmanship to North America.
A year later, Marion joined SOCCO, bringing her modern aesthetic and artistic touch, transforming how we share the story behind our pieces.
What began as a dream has grown into a store with a dedicated team of eight, all committed to helping you find the perfect pieces crafted with care and intention for your home. We’re thrilled to introduce you to brands that align with our values, each chosen with care just for you.

2017
Samir founded SOCCO, originally called SOCCO Designs, with the vision of bringing traditional Moroccan handcrafted décor to North America.
2018
Marion joined SOCCO to help develop its marketing, expand offerings, and grow the brand’s visibility.
2019
Wholesale accounted for the majority of SOCCO’s sales. Both of us spent a lot of time in trade shows showcasing our collections to retail store owners.
2020
With the arrival of COVID, we started questioning everything (I mean...who didn’t?). We decided to move to Toronto, bringing SOCCO with us.
2021
We opened our first storefront, SOCCO Annex, aiming to reconnect with people and build our retail presence. The shop featured products from local vendors and artisans around the world.
2022
Loving retail, we realized we needed a larger space to showcase everything we adore for the home. After a lot of hard work, we opened SOCCO Living on Queen Street.
2023
We started to travel more, especially to Portugal, to focus on developing our popular bedding line. It’s become one of your favourite SOCCO products.
2024
We’re about to start our third holiday season and thinking back on how much has changed since we opened. This year feels magical, and we can’t wait to keep sharing our journey with you!
